To think that success is defined outside of the scope of God is appalling. I can’t imagine that God doesn’t play some sort of role in our ability to be great. There is always that one dimension of excellence that seeps into all sorts of worldliness so trying to keep the right perspective in life is hard by itself. Let alone, without the creator of the universe. He actually promises “good success” believe it or not. So that leads me to believe that there might be a such thing as “bad” success. I’d think that the difference between the two is the God factor. In other words the success of the world eliminates God completely whereas the success that God promises us in his word is rooted in his holy principles and commands.
