Q&A WITH PAM OSBEY A.K.A. MOCHA SISTAH

I recently had the opportunity to pick the brain of a phenomenal sister in Christ, Pam Osbey A.K.A. Mocha Sistah. She not only made quite the impression on me, but in my opinion she’s certainly an inspiration to the world. She is the epitome of why I started this brand which is to unite women as a whole and to bring others to the forefront as we all give glory and honor to God so that his name is great in the Earth. As many of you already know the tagline for the brand is “break the chain, challenge the status quo” so i really wanted to understand her story of victory and triumph as it relates to her purpose and how it is she’s using her gifts and talents to stand out from among them.

To walk in the power and authority that God predestined her to walk in. The Q&A session is below, it is my prayer that it touches the heart of all of those reading today and is a blessing . As her legacy and imprint is so important and instrumental to many generations to come. Please enjoy.

QUESTION: (LOLITA)

When you wake up first thing in the morning what excites you, gets you motivated to be the
phenomenal woman that you are?

ANSWER: (MOCHA S.)

I am inspired to wake up everyday, knowing that I am fulfilling god’s plan for my life that will touch others. I am a vessel that was brought here to do his work and if I am still breathing, I know that I have much work to do in the Kingdom.

QUESTION: (LOLITA)

Who/what has inspired your greatness? What impact has this person or thing made on your life as a whole?

ANSWER: (MOCHA S.)

I believe my greatness comes from life experiences which have shaped me to learn about my self-worth and gifts. I have been fortunate to know a lot of people who have supported me such as writing mentors, friends and family members. The impact of my writing mentor Diane Williams spurned me into the writer that I am as she was the first to discover my talent and help me foster it. My writing community has been inspiring and push me to test out different literary products, books and projects. My mom has always told me that there is no limit and to explore all that I want. That has helped me to think outside of the box.

QUESTION: (LOLITA)

You may or may not know that the tagline for the brand is “break the chain, challenge the status quo” so I must ask what chains/barriers have you broken in your life to get to where you are today?

ANSWER: (MOCHA S.)

I have broken many chains in my life so that I’m  not just the status quo. Generational curses and even my weight journey have contributed me to learning who I am, body positivity, and confidence. I also have learned to take accountability of my life and actions.

QUESTION: (LOLITA)

I’m assuming you’ve had to step outside the box (challenge the status quo) in some regards
throughout your life. Please explain what makes you unique and different in how you present your
gift to the world?

ANSWER: (MOCHA S.)

My uniqueness is a blend of the gifts I’ve been given and that includes musicality, the ability to sing, write, publish and perform my own work. These gifts have been displayed in many ways over the years including writing scripts, book manuscripts, publishing, podcasting and performing in plays. My brand under Mocha Sistah is consistent with women empowerment and being your authentic self.
