This blog post is tailor-made to suit the woman who knows God undoubtedly but may be in dire need or in a desperate situation. Or life just may have you down at the moment. Yes this brand is about helping you break the chains in your life and challenging the status quo. But it’s also about uplifting and encouraging one another. Every moment in life does not necessarily resemble victory. Truth be told there are times in life that all we can do is cling to a tiny glimmer of hope that God will carry us through.

These are the moments in life where we take off our superwomen capes and we wrestle with the fact that we are all delicate, fragile human beings. You know those seasons of life that literally resemble Kryptonite. Where the worries and frustrations of life zap us of our power & perseverance. But please allow me to encourage you today, in your season of vulnerability to put your hope, faith, & trust in the hands of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. I want to challenge you to lean on him when all else fails.

His grace is sufficient to carry you through even when it looks like all of life is falling apart.

2 Corinthians 12: 9

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why for Christ sake, I delight in weakness, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions in difficulties.

He assures us that we don’t have to take on the burdens of this world all by ourselves. I know beyond a shadow of doubt that there is light at the end of the tunnel but we must keep our focus on him, and him alone. We definitely go through seasons of uncertainty but these are the times that we must dig deep into the depths of our soul and find God in broken, desperate places.

Anything outside of him, when it comes to hope is useless. Trust me I’ve tried it all and it leads to an emptiness, a void that I’ve learned that only he can fill. I know it’s easier said than done and that hope seems almost pointless when your circumstance requires so much more. But put your trust in his unwavering love. He is the way, and the truth and the life. (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit)

John 14: 6

Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

In preparing for this post I looked up the definition of hope. There were two definitions that stood out to me. The first one is a feeling of expectation & desire for a certain thing to happen. The other one is a feeling of trust. Either way, that glimmer of hope needs to be rooted in God. Hope in all else, is an empty promise. I know first hand that putting your faith & hope in anything else just to reiterate, will leave you unfulfilled and definitely with a void. If you do find yourself in a dire, hopeless situation Jesus Christ is the way.

Lastly I want to leave you with this. Just when you think you’re down for the count and all hope is gone that’s usually when God shows up. That’s why you can’t become discouraged and give up on him. He promises that if you wait on him, he will renew your strength. You will mount up on wings like eagles. You will run and not grow weary, you will walk & not faint. (Isaiah 40:31) That’s what a small glimmer of hope does for you. It gives you just what you need to make it through another day.
